Formed by the earth, smoothed by the sea and handmade into jewellery.
There is a global passion for placing stones one on top of the other, creating stone stacks and of course recording them for insta posterity. While I fully admit, I am more of a picker upper of stones than a stacker, I do love the inspo that some of these stacks provide. So here is my miniature nod to the stone stackers of the world. Skill and patience unite!
These stones are some of the hardest to choose because they not only need to “match” but I need them to be small and light so that I can put three together without too much weight. Accordingly I spend a lot of time coming up with the perfect combinations to make these earrings work. The stones are all Ruby Bay Tasman beach pebbles and the silver is sterling. Unless otherwise requested they all ship with long hooks.
Who is Ursula? This is my most beloved sister. She is THE most amazing woman I know. If she wasn’t already my sister I would pick her every time. She has always had my back and I will always have hers. She is super creative and talented and I love her to the moon and back. Her determination is what lent her name to these earrings. Stacking many stones takes perseverance and patience and she has those in spades. Love you my sister.
NOTE: THE EARRINGS IN THE PHOTO MAY NOT BE THE ACTUAL PAIR. Please contact me if you are looking for a specific set and I can forward you photos of my current stock.
